From the Board of Directors
October 4, 2020

Good Morning Everyone:

We have some information we would like to share with you.

Some of you are aware of the fact that our neighboring community, the City of Franklin has approved the development of the land behind the old Irish Cottage on Hwy.36.

Two proposals have been approved by the city and the infra structure is currently being done.

A.  Straus Co. for the building of a (Veal processing) slaughter house which will also be their headquarters.

-That is a done deal.  What is not is the restriction of how many heads of cattle can be processed a day.

-That will be discussed at a public hearing this October 8th at 7pm. at Franklin City Hall.

-You are welcome to attend it.  Our Common Council person  Eileen Madden will be there.  She tried to

to stop this as well as her counterpart for the City of Franklin that represents this area.  The Mayor and

other Common Council persons pushed it through.

-Bear Reality is behind this project.  They are also building next to this meat packing facility a subdivision

that is featuring $500,000 homes.  That will be put in first.

City Muskego Trick or Treating will be going forward... October 31st from 6pm to 8pm.

The Board has been working with our Common Council person Eillen Madden and the Muskego Police Dept.

on ways we can get control on the excessive speeding occurring in our subdivision.  The majority of the speeders live in our subdivision.  The speed limit is 25mph.  We all have busy schedules but it is not worth seriously injuring someone.  So please watch your speed.

Please take time out to vote either 1. Absentee(  myvote.wi.gov to request an absentee ballot)  2. Early voting at City Hall starting Oct. 20th(check City website for times)  3. Plan on voting November 3rd (Election Day) at City Hall from 7am to 8pm.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.
